SAN ANTONIO — Today, the Pablos for Mayor campaign released its final advertisement ahead of the 2025 Mayoral Runoff Election, featuring a personal testimonial from Dr. Laura Pablos on her husband’s deep commitment to their family, and to the families of San Antonio.
Dr. Laura is a lifelong San Antonian who grew up in a well-known Democratic political family from the Westside. Laura’s grandfather, Dr. Jose San Martin, Jr., was one of the first-ever Hispanic members of the San Antonio City Council, having been elected in 1957 and 1959, and again in 1973.
An orthodontist, Dr. Laura established her own thriving practice until their daughter, Mia, was born with special needs, after which she paused her practice to become a full-time mother to their four children.
Today, Dr. Laura teaches STEM courses at Health Careers High School in the Northside Independent School District (NISD).
