SAN ANTONIO —  Tonight, Rolando Pablos issued the following statement after securing a place on the June 7, 2025 San Antonio Mayoral Runoff ballot:

“Tonight, San Antonians made clear they are demanding change —and thankfully, good change is coming.  I couldn’t be prouder of our team and our supporters across our great city who have made this moment possible, and I am excited to continue our incredible momentum over the next four weeks as we head into the runoff election.

“The fact that no sitting city council member finished in the top three positions tonight is a clear sign that San Antonio voters are sick of business as usual, and are ready to get down to business to secure a more prosperous future for our children and grandchildren.”

“San Antonio now has a clear choice, and I am confident they will reject Gina Jones for what she represents: more of the same, failed leadership from the San Antonio political machine that has left poverty rates in stagnation and caused businesses to pass over the Alamo city due to the radical, misplaced policy priorities that are completely out of line with the values of San Antonians.”

“I look forward to a robust, spirited debate over the next month against Gina Jones. As we work to unite San Antonians ahead of the June 7th runoff election, I am calling on voters, candidates, community leaders, and all who want to see San Antonio reach its full potential to join our effort to bring real change to the Alamo City.”
